The Bully Awards

Moodagent was announced as a winner of the 2011 Bully Award honouring Europe’s leading technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) companies as presented by White Bull Summits, champions of the European innovation ecosystem.

A total of 60 European companies were named as finalists for the 2011 Bully Award, and the deserving winners were selected from a pool of entries that included hundreds of nominated European TMT companies.

“The Bully Award winners were selected for innovation and values of excellence in the TMT sector. They have been recognized as a leader in their field, with a bright business proposition and meaningful market strategies, driven by a rich understanding of customer needs and technological solutions,” stated Farley Duvall, Founder and Chairman of White Bull Summits.

Calling All Innovators

We’re proud to announce that Moodagent has been awarded a 2nd prize in the music category of the biggest developer contest in history: Nokia’s “Calling all innovators” competition for outstanding Symbian apps developed for the N8 device.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in making Moodagent a success, and a special thanks to all of our loyal Nokia users, whose feedback and support has been fantastic. You guys rock!

The Calling All Innovators competition called upon developers globally to compete for a pool of cash and prizes valued at 10 million dollars (USD). Over 800 entries were received from developers in fifty-seven countries with US-based developers submitting the most entries. The majority of apps submitted, including Moodagent, were created using Qt, Nokia’s mobile development platform. Moodagent congratulates all of the contest winners with their great achievements. The Appscars 2011

Moodagent is privileged to have been voted among the top 5 music apps by the readers of Laptop Magazine. In the final vote we came in third, surpassed by undoubtably great music apps from Rhapsody and MOG. Thanks to all of you who voted for us. Let’s take it to the top next year!

Moodagent has been honored twice at the Webby Awards, latest as an official honoree in 2011 and the year before as an official nominee for the prestigious award.

The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. Established in 1996 during the Web’s infancy, the Webbys are presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, which includes an Executive 750-member body of leading Web experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries and creative celebrities, and Associate Members who are former Webby Award Winners and Nominees and other Internet professionals.

As a result of the superior quantity and quality of sites entered, the 15th Annual Webby Awards recognized sites and teams that demonstrated a standard of excellence.
Of the nearly 10,000 entries submitted to the 15th Annual Webby Awards, fewer than 10% were distinguished as an Official Honoree. This honor signifies an outstanding caliber of work.
